A Little (but Most Heartfelt) Thank You!
It’s coming towards the end of January! How was the first month of the year for you? Mine was great in the most part – it saw me starting this blog and sticking to posting frequently. On that note, can I just say a massive THANK YOU for going through this month with me! I know there are loads of blogs out there, but I appreciate you stopping by to read from me. Thank you for your time and support!
You may know I started the blog on a sort of whim. My friend and I were having a conversation about our plans for the year. I remained a bit silent and clueless (because I left work a year ago to find my passions – let’s just say it’s taking longer than I thought!!) but casually said that I might start my own blog. I had spoken about this severally in 2017 and had already written a few articles for a different platform which had since shut down. I wasn’t too sure whether to pursue my own blog and what it would look like but she told me to get on with it – came up with the name and everything. Still unsure of myself and how to categorize my blog, my husband encouraged me to get it going – it’s easier to direct a moving object than a stationery one. And within 24 hours, I registered the domain and got the framework together to start blogging. My first post was up on 1 January.
I want this blog to be authentic. I want this blog to take a 360 approach because there are many facets of who I am, and that’s what I’m here to give. You may have noticed that so far I have been focusing on the Daniel Fast because that’s what I’ve been up to (and my faith in Christ dictates my life). But, as well as the spiritual there will be more from me – fashion (including my collection of heels and what I’m eyeing at the moment – because this girl has a shoe problem!!), health, lifestyle, finance, parenting, home and interiors and more.
I hope that this blog will have something that will be of interest to you. I’d love to hear from you. Do contact me on instagram or comment below.
I’ll be back later in the week with something a little different.
