The weather has been excellent this summer. We managed to take several trips to the beach (don’t worry we didn’t go to crowded beaches – we chose dates and times that were suitable for social distancing), had a mini getaway, and spent some time with friends. With shops and restaurants open too, I was able to wear a lot more of my wardrobe. Here are my top 5.
These are a firm fave. They are a bit of a Celine dupe but I promise you, no one would think they are from ASOS. This has got to be the best £12 I’ve ever spent!
This has got to be my most worn dress in summer – so much so that I bought both the black and the flowered versions. I particularly love the ruffled off the shoulder cut, the loose and floaty fit (more space for those summer barbecues), and its versatility to be dressed up or down.
A loose fit linen t-shirt is a complete no brainer for summer days. I prefer v-neck, longline, simple t-shirts in black, white, navy and grey.
White sneakers are so versatile. I have worn mine through spring and summer with midi dresses, skirts, wide-leg trousers, jeans, shorts…. and will be wearing them into autumn as well. If you like the Golden Goose trainers but are on a budget, you will love these from Air & Grace. Veja is also a great brand for white sneakers. If you are on a very tight budget these H&M sneakers are affordable and very comfortable.
Last on my list are these H&M gold sandals. I have worn them to death over summer for no other reason than they are comfortable and generally look great with any outfit.
